Inspired by our opening in Thailand last year and the UK’s long standing love of curry, we are introducing our spicy & herbaceous Thai Green Curry menu.
We took core flavours and ingredients one would find in a traditional Thai green curry and translated it to our burgers and fries.
Traditionally, green curry started with a pounded paste of chillies and aromatic ingredients like galangal and lemongrass. Fish sauce and coconut are simmered to create a savoury and spicy delight.
Cheeseburger with fresh cucumber slices, fresh herb mix, crispy ale-marinated shallots and green curry mayo.
Crispy chicken breast over shredded green cabbage and topped with fresh cucumber slices, fresh herb mix and green curry mayo.
Crinkle cut fries with green curry mayo, crispy ale-marinated shallots and spring onions.
For our sauce, we start with a vibrant green curry paste packed with chillies, aromatics, and spices. A shot of fish sauce and fresh herbs give our green curry mayo that signature Thai green curry flavour with a lingering heat, and a herbaceous aroma.
We looked at traditional beverages from the region and found the perfect pairing in the Thai Tea Shake.
For this, we simply make a concentrated Thai tea mix and add it to our house-made vanilla custard. Thai tea is black tea that is amped up with spices like star anise, cardamom, and cinnamon.
Its glowing orange hue definitely stands out and turns an orange creamsicle colour when mixed with milk. We top it with whipped cream and toasted coconut to add another layer of aromatic flavour to this vibrant shake.
